Introducing the Sailloft CrossHR 2025.

With the new Sailloft Cross HR, we have created a new generation in the freeride/freerace segment. It combines the planing performance of a light wind freeride sail with the top speed of a freerace sail.

No criterion was overlooked during development. However, the most important were the redesign of the outline and profiling.

The new high-ratio outline with a shortened fork in relation to the mast length not only gave the sail its name, HR, but also ensures outstanding handling when jibing. This allows the sail to turn almost by itself when shifting. The soft rotation of the battens around the mast does the rest, allowing you to come out of the power jibe at full speed. This makes the Cross HR feel right at home on the new short boards.

To ensure that no power is lost during planing due to the now shorter gaff, we have significantly increased the profile depth in the window area, thereby even improving planing performance. As a result, the HR planes even better than its already fast-planing predecessor. After planing, it transitions seamlessly into rich acceleration. The sail remains easy to control at all times, right up to top speed. The Cross is balanced and light in the hands across the entire wind range. Gusts are converted into additional acceleration and speed. A batten setup with tube battens keeps the pressure point permanently in place. A finely adjusted loose leech ensures control at the limit.

Thanks to its slim ratio and forward-placed profile, the Cross HR is now also ideal for use in foil surfing.

We have opted for a new size range in the sail line. The two "small" 5.6 m² and 6.0 m² sails with a handling-oriented outline and 5 battens remain true to their area of application as freemove sails for maneuver lovers on smaller boards.

From 6.2 m² to 8.2 m², with 6 battens and a freeride outline, it's all about speed.

The new sizes allow for interesting design options for the sail set.
For example, if you want to replace an old 7.0 Cross, you now have two options:

• Either the 6.7: It delivers at least the same gliding power as the old 7.0, but with significantly better handling.
• Or the 7.2: With power close to the old 7.5 but with the same handling as the old 7.0.
