It's my journalist instincts that won't let me walk away. Cedar Cove's new sheriff, Jack Mercer, thinks I'm in over my head. He's infuriatingly good-looking, disarmingly nice, and doesn't seem half as grumpy around me as he does around everyone else. Annoying.
