The Yamaha DXR8mkII is a 8" 1100W 2-Way active loudspeaker which provides clear audio and extremely high output levels in an unobtrusive and durable design, ideal for live sound applications that require wide bandwidth audio reproduction. The cabinet has a rugged ABS construction with a bass-reflex design for enhanced bass performance with reduced turbulence. The high-power 8" woofer and 1.75" compression tweeter offer high-resolution audio with a wide frequency response and deep bass. Integrated DSP uses a FIR-X linear phase filter for an ultra-smooth crossover, while the protection circuits optimize and protect driver performance.

The speaker has a biamplified Class-D design that provides a combined peak output power of 1100W for a strong performance with minimal distortion. The integrated D-contour processor allows you to use the speaker as a main/FOH speaker or as a stage monitor. The rear panel has XLR, 1/4", and RCA inputs, as well as XLR thru and output connectors for wide compatibility with a variety of professional sound systems and devices.

The speaker can be placed on a floor or stage, but also has useful mounting options. A dual 35mm pole socket allows you to mount the speaker on top of a subwoofer with horizontal or 7° tilt toward the floor, while M8 fly points allow suspended installation. An optional U-bracket is available separately for wall mounting. The Yamaha DXR8mkII ships with a power cord.

FIR-X tuning

Proprietary sound-processing technology utilizing a linear-phase FIR filter delivers high-quality sound at high resolution with a smooth frequency response that is unaffected by phase interference near the crossover point

D-CONTOUR (Dynamic CONTOUR)

D-CONTOUR is a multiband compressor that dynamically controls the level of each frequency range according to the application and human hearing characteristics

Features mixing functionality, enabling you to mix sounds by directly inputting three channel signals into the unit

Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.
