De matten zijn speciaal ontworpen voor gebruik in vechtsporten waar veel staande technieken worden geoefend, en ze zijn niet geschikt voor gebruik met schoenen. Dankzij de dichte celstructuur nemen de matten geen vocht op, waardoor ze gemakkelijk te reinigen zijn met een vochtige doek en antibacterieel schoonmaakmiddel.

De matten kunnen ook gecombineerd worden met andere puzzelmatten in rood/blauw of zwart/rood, die dezelfde puzzelranden hebben, waardoor ze flexibel inzetbaar zijn voor verschillende trainingsomgevingen.

Let op: Nieuwe puzzelmatten kunnen moeilijk aansluiten op bestaande matten. Dit komt doordat de oudere matten door gebruik kunnen zijn uitgelopen en daardoor dunner of groter zijn geworden.
