The LIVE Electrical SPV240/1 2-Pole Type 2 DC Surge Protection Device (SPD) is designed to provide dependable protection for solar photovoltaic (PV) and other DC power systems. This high-performance SPD is built to handle voltages up to 600VDC while ensuring continuous operation and protection from transient overvoltages caused by lightning strikes or electrical switching.
Featuring advanced high-energy varistors and a built-in thermal disconnect mechanism, the SPV240/1 delivers fast, safe response in the event of a surge or fault. It is constructed from durable, weather-resistant materials for reliable outdoor use and complies fully with IEC/EN 61643-31 and BS EN 61643-31 standards. With its plug-in module design, this SPD allows quick installation and easy maintenance, making it ideal for both new installations and retrofit applications.
