De Sencys momentsleutel is een speciale sleutel om bouten en moeren met een exacte vooringestelde kracht (koppel of moment) aan te draaien. Vooral bij materialen van verschillende legeringen is het van groot belang de door de fabrikant aangegeven koppel aan te houden om te voorkomen de tap, bout of moer te beschadigen. De Sencys momentsleutel is instelbaar van 28-210Nm en de afstelling is te vergrendelen met de moer aan het eind van het handvat. De schaal is vermeld in zowel Nm als MKG (Newton meter/Meter Kilogram), zodat een conversietabel niet nodig is. De kop heeft een 1/2'' aandrijving en is zowel links als rechtsdraaiend. Als de afgestelde koppel is bereikt geeft de sleutel een duidelijke klik. De Sencys momentsleutel wordt geleverd in een kunststof opbergbox.Een momentsleutel werkt in de basis hetzelfde als een ratelsleutel en heeft ook een ratelmechanisme. Het verschil zit hem erin dat er bij een momentsleutel een veer in het handvat zit die er bij een ratel niet zit. Wanneer de spanning op de veer toeneemt, neemt ook de kracht van de momentsleutel toe. Hoe strakker de veer, des te meer kracht (Nm) de sleutel aankan. Belangrijk is dat je na gebruik van de sleutel de veer weer ontspant, dus opbergen in de minimale stand. Dit is nodig om te voorkomen dat de veer vervormt waardoor de waardes kunnen veranderen en de sleutel zijn nauwkeurigheid verliest.

Good all around, some imperfections on threads difficult to screw together

I received a complete product as advertised, it's a solid steel design with everything you need to mounted included. One small issue I encountered is that the pieces screw together but they wouldn't screw all the way it felt difficult and possibly if forced the steel might crack. Unfairly enough other pieces did completely screw in. So it's probably because of imperfections on the threads.

Build w/ a Friend, and BYOL (Bring Your Own Level)

Definitely a two-person job. Not because it's heavy, but a little awkward at first. I installed the first bracket, and my 12 yo assisted. Then, she hung the second bracket, and I assisted. Have a level handy. I didn't want to roll the dice and allow her to hang from the bracket, but it seems super-strong. We hung the brackets 32" apart, and 6" overhang, i.e. 48" x 12" laminate shelves. Gorgeous.

Nice, sturdy kit...would buy again!

Purchasing this kit instead of each piece of pipe and fittings required was a no-brainer. It was especially easy because all pieces are prepainted. It went together with ease.
Mounting was simple with planning, measurements, and a level.
*Note*
I purchase the pine stair treads from Home Depot that are 1" thick and then chemically aged them before adding polycrylic. It is cheaper than plywood and shelving boards, and a full 1" thick rather than 1x12 shelving.

Looks amazing!

Very straight forward to build. Mine was not hard but to a bit more effort because my ceiling is at an angle so I had to get a little creative. I cut a piece of wood and placed it between the ceiling and one of the arms for it to be even. It’s also not completely even cause I didn’t have a long level but still looks amazing.

A Spa-tacular Addition to My Bathroom Oasis!

Perfect Statement Piece for My Spa-Like Bathroom!
I know this review is super delayed~I’ve been living out of the country, and only just got around to installing this beautiful shelving unit. But wow, it was worth the wait!
